Job summary

AMR is hiring Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests, delivering high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients.

Starting at $50,000.00 per year with credit for experience, the role includes assisting with patient assessments, documenting care, and working with public safety personnel to ensure fast, effective medical response.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Kansas Advanced EMT certification required.
• Valid state driver’s license in good standing; driving record compliant with company policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and determine necessary care, delivering emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients; operate ambulance following safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel; participate in community programs to support AMR image.
