Qualifications

• Valid NYS AEMT
• Valid Driver's License
• Heavy Work - lifting 50 to 100 pounds occasionally, 25 to 50 pounds frequently, 10 to 20 pounds constantly
• Requires constant walking, standing or squatting

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls, assess patients, and coordinate with dispatch.
• Transport patients to facilities, monitor and care during transit.
• Administer CPR, control bleeding, manage airways per NYS scope.
• Use equipment like defibrillators and oxygen delivery systems.
• Maintain patient care reports with assessments and treatments.
• Ensure emergency vehicles and equipment readiness.
• Interpret instructions, calculate weight/volume ratios.
• Lift/move patients in challenging environments.
• Participate in ongoing education to stay current.
