Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) in Kansas to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests and deliver high-quality care and customer service to patients.

As an AEMT you will perform patient assessments, provide emergency care, document information, and work with ambulance teams while upholding safety and confidentiality. This role requires KS EMT certification, CPR, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Kansas EMT Certification or eligibility required.
• CPR certification required.
• NREMT certification preferred.
• State Driver’s License and driving record acceptable.
• Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT) required.

Responsibilities

• EMTs provide patient assessment and deliver emergency medical services.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment with confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stocked environment for patients.
• Use EMT skills to provide care including communications and equipment.
• Operate ambulance in line with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
