Job summary

AMR is recruiting Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and to deliver high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients across Kansas. Responsibilities include patient assessment, documentation, and delivering care using EMT skills while maintaining confidentiality and safety.

Minimum qualifications include a Kansas EMT certification or eligibility, CPR, and a valid driver’s license; NREMT is preferred.

Qualifications

• EMTs must hold a valid Kansas EMT certification or be eligible for certification.
• CPR certification is required.
• NREMT certification is preferred.
• A state driver’s license is required and driving record must comply with policy.
• PAT (Physical Ability Test) must be passed.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services.
• Document patient information and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use EMT skills to provide care and operate medical equipment and vehicles per policy.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
