Atrium Health Floyd is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medical Technician to join the EMS ambulance team in Summerville, GA. The role requires providing pre-hospital care and safe patient transport under supervision within Advocate Health’s standards.

You will perform basic to intermediate care, assess conditions, and communicate patient information to receiving facilities. This position offers a part-time schedule with a competitive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State-approved Emergency Medical Technician course.
• Valid driver's license and driving record in accordance with facility policy.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Current EMT certification (EMT-A).
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Current Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS) certification or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Provide pre-hospital care to the sick and injured.
• Safe transportation of patients to an appropriate medical facility.
• Deliver basic to intermediate emergency and non-emergency care.
• Assess illness or injury and manage patient care.
• Prepare transfer information and communicate with medical staff.
• Demonstrate teamwork within the healthcare environment.
• Adhere to Advocate EMS standards and value compass.
