Job summary

EmergyCare Inc. seeks an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician to deliver high-quality pre-hospital care and transport patients to appropriate medical facilities.

The AEMT will evaluate patients, relay critical information, and perform ALS/BLS techniques as allowed by PA DOH. The role also involves supervising EMTs, trainees, and coordinating with medical command. Regular attendance and driving during shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current PA EMT certification and BLS-CPR certification required.
• Emergency Vehicle Drivers Training completed; valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of PA DOH EMS Scope of Practice for AEMTs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital emergency care per PA DOH protocols.
• Evaluate patient and relay information to medical facilities.
• Transport patients to appropriate facilities via ambulance, wheelchair van, or medical van.
• Assist in supervision and training of EMTs, AEMTs, EMS students, and other personnel.
