Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) for immediate per-diem opportunities in Houston. You will respond to emergencies and provide high-quality care, documentation and patient interaction on scene and during transport.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, EMS procedures, maintaining equipment, and collaboration with healthcare and public safety teams. A dedicated team environment and AMR community engagement are highlighted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State EMT license active and current.
• State driver's license required.
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
• NREMT certification preferred or required per region.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass physical agility test.
• Some healthcare work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment and determine required care.
• Document patient information and treatment, preserving confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Apply EMT skills for care, including equipment and procedures.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with safety policies and laws.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety teams.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image.
