Job summary

Galveston County Health District is looking for dedicated Attending Advanced EMTs to join the Galveston Area Ambulance Authority. In this role, you will provide emergency and non-emergency medical care, assess patient conditions, and support public health emergencies. Applicants should have a high school diploma, current Advanced EMT certification, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must obtain Medical Director protocol certification within 30 days of employment.
• Ability to pass written and physical exams.
• Valid Texas driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and non-emergency medical care and transport patients safely.
• Assess patient conditions and make appropriate triage decisions.
• Document all care accurately in the ePCR.
