Community Ambulance Bibb County is seeking a dedicated Advanced Emergency Medical Technician to join our mission‑driven team. Based in Bibb County, you will assess patients, deliver emergency care, and coordinate transport to receiving facilities.

You will work under the Georgia Scope of Practice for AEMT, communicate with CMED, and document care. The role demands readiness for disaster responses and collaboration with fellow public safety personnel.

Qualifications

• AEMT provider level per Georgia Scope of Practice.
• Experience in pre-hospital emergency care.
• Ability to document and communicate patient status.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial patient assessment and administer treatment under AEMT scope.
• Provide safe transport and assist in lifting and moving patients.
• Maintain two-way communication with CMED and receiving facilities.
• Complete required documentation prior to end of shift.
• Ensure ambulance stocked and ready for next shift.
• Adhere to Georgia Rules and Regulations for EMS.
• Work collaboratively with allied health and safety personnel.
