Job summary

Alliance is seeking an entry-level assembler to perform basic mechanical and electrical assembly on production units. Under direct supervision, you will read blueprints, assemble machine sections to spec, and ensure tolerances with fixtures and tools.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, good dexterity, and strict adherence to safety procedures. We value hands-on problem solving, teamwork, and reliability.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade schooling in mechanical or electrical assembly desirable.
  • Experience reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work orders for assembly.
  • Ability to assemble basic machine sections to customer specs with fixtures and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints and diagrams to determine materials and assembly steps.
  • Assemble basic machine sections to customer specifications; attach units to frames.
  • Perform mechanical assembly with close tolerances using fixtures and templates.
  • Drill, tap, ream parts; inspect fit, finish and lubrication.
  • Check wiring for proper coding and continuity; install components per diagrams.
  • Maintain safety and housekeeping; participate in team meetings and communicate clearly.
