Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, TX seeks an Echo Technologist to perform 2D, M-Mode, color Doppler, pulse wave Doppler, and transesophageal echocardiograms with high technical standards.

You will work under supervision in non-invasive cardiology, with shift flexibility and required call. Strong imaging skills and certification are essential, along with patient safety and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or accredited echo training program preferred.
• High School Diploma and/or GED.
• Current American Heart Association ACLS preferred.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from American Heart Association required.
• RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) required.
• Experience with Philips ie33 and EPIQ, TEE probes and Epic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assures proper patient identification and safety.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patient.
• Demonstrates understanding of universal precautions.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize STAT calls and routine orders.
• Demonstrates technical proficiency in all echo procedures.
• Prepares echocardiographic worksheet for physicians review and interpretation.
