Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in the United States. This full-time role combines advanced parts knowledge with hands-on DIY service support for customers in-store and by phone.

You will manage battery and wiper installations, assist with parts sourcing, and uphold store standards to deliver exceptional customer service. Required are 3–5 years in automotive parts, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel. ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role requiring strong service and sales ethic.
• Ability to locate and stock parts; operate POS and lookup systems.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic tools.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers via in-store and phone interactions.
• Achieve personal and store sales and service goals.
• Manage DIY services like battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Perform key holder duties including safety, opening/closing tasks.
• Assist in inventory processes and store cleanliness.
• Support advanced parts lookup and sourcing for customers.
