Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is hiring a Retail Parts Pro in the United States. You will use your advanced parts knowledge to assist DIY customers, perform battery tests, wiper installations and other services, and drive store sales targets.

Customer service excellence, strong communication, and familiarity with store inventory and POS systems are essential. ASE certification and a valid driver’s license enhance candidacy; full-time hours apply.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with fulfillment of customer transactions.
• Valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities: task assignment, safety, open/close duties.
• Assist in store inventory processes and back stock management.
• Ensure store cleanliness and organization; handle parking lot and facilities.
• Operate POS and parts lookup systems; source from multiple suppliers.
