Job summary

The Budd Group in Front Royal, VA is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to join our cleaning and disinfection team. You will work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, earning about $23 per hour as an hourly, non-exempt employee.

Under supervision, you will operate cleaning equipment, apply disinfectants, and respond to remediation tasks while ensuring safety, proper PPE use, and compliance with site procedures.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel locally and/or long distance up to 65%.
• Previous general and/or janitorial cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to read and communicate chemical application instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with disinfection tasks and equipment operation.
• Disinfect high-touch areas such as doorknobs, switches and fixtures.
• Operate wet vacuums, carpet extractors, buffers and scrubbers.
• Communicate with team and customer in a professional manner.
• Respond to remediation or airborne illness as needed.
