The ACNP/AGACNP will diagnose and manage life‑threatening conditions, lead treatment plans including ventilator management, perform critical procedures, and educate families on post‑ICU recovery.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Nursing (MSN/DNP) or PA with Acute Care specialization.
• Active NP or PA license in the state of practice.
• Board certification as ACNP/AGACNP or PA in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of critically ill patients.
• Diagnose and manage acute and life-threatening conditions (e.g., sepsis, respiratory failure).
• Develop and implement treatment plans including ventilator management and life-support.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (CXR, CT, ultrasound, ABG, echocardiograms).
• Perform procedures (central line, arterial line, intubation, chest tube, punctures).
• Monitor complex data from ventilators and hemodynamic devices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for evidence-based care.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and post-ICU recovery.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance.
