Siemens Energy is hiring a Manufacturing Technician for Wax Assembly in Gibsonton, FL. The role involves working with wax components, metal plates, and sprues on the 2nd shift (M-F, 2pm-10pm).

You will follow precise work instructions, train in production areas, and ensure high-quality parts in a team setting at the Gibsonton site. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to read engineering instructions.

Qualifications

• High school or GED is required.
• Knowledge or interest in manufacturing, good attention to detail and eye/hand coordination skills.
• Able to perform basic math functions using the metric system and read Engineering instructions.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
• Export license requirements apply; export-controlled technology may be involved.

Responsibilities

• Follows assembly methods for Wax components and sub-assemblies.
• Operates small tools and burnishers used in wax and metal plate handling.
• Adheres to work instructions, photographs, and uses hand tools to patch, smooth, and finish sprues.
• Attaches pour coups to sprues with correct orientation and visually inspects components for defects.
• Cross-trains and follows additional instructions as assigned.
