P2K is seeking a Concrete Finisher II (Intermediate) to prepare sub-grade, set and align forms, and pour and finish concrete for roads, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, floors, and joints. The role focuses on achieving a sound structure and an attractive surface per specifications.

The position involves operating hand and power tools, performing broom finishes, applying curing compounds, and assisting in training Junior Finishers, with safety as a priority in a physically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with form setting and concrete finishing techniques.
• Ability to lift 70 pounds and work in extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Set and align forms to the desired pitch and depth.
• Spread, level, and finish concrete with hand or power tools.
• Create broom finish on rough surfaces.
• Apply curing compounds and seal surfaces.
• Install expansion joints, dowels, and wire mesh as specified.
• Provide guidance to junior finishers on proper methods and safety.
