Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician in Raleigh, NC to perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems. The role covers RTUs, package units, split systems, boilers, and related electrical components.

The position requires strong troubleshooting skills and safe execution of preventative and corrective maintenance, with on-site responsibilities and on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial/industrial HVAC experience performing preventative maintenance and repairs.
• EPA Universal 608 Certification.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Lead and support the installation, maintenance, and repair of large-scale industrial air conditioning systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and adjust thermostats, burners, transformers, relays, controls, switches, heaters, and related electrical components.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical HVAC system issues.
• Utilize HVAC trade tools, including multimeters, refrigerant gauges, charging charts, and hand tools.
• Respond to emergency repair requests promptly and efficiently.
• Provide technical direction and on-the-job training when needed.
