Job summary

SRC Automotive, Inc. is seeking an Advanced CNC Operator to run mills, lathes and related equipment, ensuring parts meet required tolerances. You will perform setup, offsets and tooling maintenance while following safety rules and open-book style practices.

The role requires basic math, blueprint reading, and the ability to switch between metric and SAE standards; strong teamwork and communication are valued in this employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing paced assembly line setting preferred.
Ability to perform basic mathematics addition, subtraction, and conversions.
Ability to work between metric and SAE standards and use common machine shop gauges.
Verbal and written communication skills and basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

Operate mills, lathes, grinders, presses and related equipment to tolerance.
Set up equipment, adjust offsets, maintain tooling and minor modifications.
Inspect results visually and with gauges, review CMM data for adjustments.
Ensure safety, housekeeping and IATF-16949 compliance in production.
Assist in other production areas and support continuous improvement.
