Job description

3rd Shift Wanted. As an Advanced CNC Operator, you will play a key role in our Machine Shop, operating and setting up a variety of CNC machines to create components that meet our rigorous standards. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced equipment, collaborate with skilled team members, and contribute to the success of our production operations. We value professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a clean and safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC machine centers, primarily milling aluminum blocks, to produce quality parts according to company procedures.
  • Run and set up all types of CNC machines in the Machine Shop, including lathes, drillers, buffing robots, and Universal Cell.
  • Assist operators and support both Cells within the Machine Shop as needed.
  • Make tool adjustments, change out broken tools, enter offsets, and document changes in the Adjustment Folder.
  • Perform setups and tool crib tasks, including changing out tools, in both Cells.
  • Run crossbow parts and ensure all products meet dimensional requirements through quality checks using calipers.
  • Utilize scanners to accurately document jobs and minimize scanning errors.
  • Adhere to all company quality procedures.
  • Fulfill the duties of Cell Leads in their absence.
  • Assist in other departments and perform additional duties asøde required to support production goals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, complying with all safety regulations.
