Job summary

Kennametal in Nashville, TN is hiring CNC Machinists for a precision manufacturing facility that produces components on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC equipment with tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• 2+ years CNC machining experience or graduate of machining program
• CNC setup experience and blueprint reading skills
• Basic GD&T knowledge and precision measuring ability

Responsibilities

• Machine Setups: Perform complete setups and prepare machines for production.
• Machine Operation: Operate multiple CNC machines throughout each shift.
• Quality Audits: Verify parts meet dimensional and visual quality standards.
• Precision Inspection: Measure parts using precision inspection equipment.
• Offsets: Make tool wear and dimensional offsets as needed.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose machining issues and maintain stable production.
• Blueprint Reading: Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.
• Documentation: Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
