Job summary

Kennametal is hiring CNC Machinists in a precision manufacturing facility. We fabricate precision components on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC equipment with tight tolerances, offering on-site training and long-term career growth in Tennessee.

We seek candidates with 2+ years CNC experience or TCAT graduates, strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills, and the ability to perform setups, run multiple machines, and document quality data.

Qualifications

• 2+ years CNC machining experience or recently graduated from TCAT.
• CNC setup experience and the ability to read blueprints.
• Knowledge of GD&T and precision measuring tools.
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete setups and prepare machines for production.
• Operate multiple CNC machines across shifts.
• Verify parts meet dimensional and visual quality standards.
• Measure parts with precision inspection equipment.
• Make tool wear and dimensional offsets as needed.
• Troubleshoot machining issues to maintain stable production.

We’re hiring CNC Machinists for our precision manufacturing facility, making precision components for the industrial equipment industry on advanced 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC equipment. Compensation

• $26 – $32 / hrtotal comp

Hiring on 2nd and 3rd (occasionally on 1st)

• 1st Shift:7am – 3pm (M-F)
• 2nd Shift:3pm – 11pm (M-F)
• 3rd Shift:11pm – 7am (M-F)

Responsibilities

• Machine Setups:Perform complete setups and prepare machines for production.
• Machine Operation:Operate multiple CNC machines throughout each shift.
• Quality Audits:Verify parts meet dimensional and visual quality standards.
• Precision Inspection:Measure parts using precision inspection equipment.
• Offsets:Make tool wear and dimensional offsets as needed.
