Job summary

Spaulding Clinical is seeking a Clinical Research Technician - Advanced to join our AM team onsite. You will perform advanced technical procedures in clinical trials, including meals, subject positioning, phlebotomy, ECG lead placement, and vital signs under supervision.

The role requires attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and adherence to SOPs, GCP, and HIPAA regulations. Training starts on first days of orientation with opportunity for growth and shifts on AM schedule.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a scientific/medical field preferred
• Phlebotomy certification or on-the-job phlebotomy training required
• CNA or Medical Assistant certification desirable
• BLS certification required within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Performs meal administration to ensure correct content for each participant.
• Performs subject bag checks to prevent contraband on the study floor.
• Conducts ECG lead placement and telemetry monitoring with supervision.
• Obtains venipuncture, capillary, and IV specimens using aseptic technique.
• Records physical measurements: height, weight, BMI and vital signs.
• Manages sample handling, transport and processing per SOPs.
• Verifies dosing and assists nurses during administration for accuracy.
• Keeps up with SOPs, GCP, ICH, HIPAA, OSHA and safety regulations.
