Qualifications

Under supervision, performs technician responsibilities in clinical pharmacy care delivery.

Responsibilities

Performs the technician responsibilities of clinical pharmacy care delivery under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist or licensed independent practitioner.
Fills and delivers medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist/licensed independent practitioner.
Triages and escalates questions or issues outside the technician’s scope of practice as needed.
Uses appropriate systems for processing patient information and maintains quality assurance per regulatory requirements.
Participates in the training of new employees.
Operates pharmacy equipment and supports clinical initiatives to improve patient care.
