Job summary

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) seeks a clinical pharmacist to deliver advanced pharmaceutical care under a collaborative practice agreement for detainees.

The role includes medication management, comprehensive counseling, care coordination, and quality initiatives, with on-site pharmacy coverage and TDY support as needed. Requirements include PharmD, active US license, and BCPS/BCACP; candidates may participate in ongoing professional development and quality assurance activities

Qualifications

• PharmD degree from an ACPE-accredited program with 1 year of direct patient care under a protocol or CPP.
• Active, full, unrestricted pharmacist license in the US to practice in relevant jurisdiction(s).
• Maintains current specialty certification (BCPS or BCACP).
• Desirable knowledge of IHSC policies and ability to communicate in Spanish or another language.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care to detainees under CPPA and agency guidelines.
• Perform comprehensive medication management and patient counseling.
• Coordinate medical and behavioral care with the healthcare team; support transitions of care.
• Provide on-site verification of medications to ensure dispensing accuracy.
