Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Clinical competency completed within 3 months of hire and every 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties of Clinical Assistant 1 with additional experience or education.
• Prepares for patient visits by reviewing charts and needed forms.
• Obtains and records age-appropriate vital signs and medical history updates.
• Assists with procedures, minor office surgeries, and point-of-care testing.
• Maintains clean exam rooms, stocks supplies, and processes medical data.
