Job summary

National Jewish Health is seeking an experienced Cardiac Device Specialist to join the Cardiology team at the Main Campus in Denver. You will interrogate, analyze and re-program pacemakers, ICDs and other devices, while educating patients on remote monitoring and follow-up care.

Collaboration with electrophysiologists and cardiology providers is essential to optimize patient outcomes. Responsibilities include device clinic coordination, patient tracking, and ensuring timely follow-ups and recall

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in an electrophysiology setting or related experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Interrogates, analyzes and re-programs cardiac devices with minimal supervision.
• Educates patients on device management, remote monitoring and follow-up care.
• Collaborates with electrophysiologists and cardiology providers to optimize outcomes.
• Maintains patient tracking and remote monitoring programs; schedules follow-ups.
