Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Electronic Manufacturing Facility in Huntsville is seeking a Cable Assembly Technician to build, troubleshoot, and repair cable assemblies per engineering drawings and work instructions. You will use strippers, crimpers, and soldering iron while collaborating with design and manufacturing engineers.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 2–4 years in cable building or electrical/mechanical assembly, and US citizenship with ability to obtain a Secret

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 2–4 years of cable building or electrical/mechanical assembly experience.
• Working knowledge of tools and equipment used in cable assembly.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build, troubleshoot, and repair cable assemblies.
• Work with design and manufacturing engineers to anticipate issues.
• Interpret engineer drawings, electrical schematics, and technical specifications.
• Perform basic testing to identify signal and connectivity faults.
