Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$90,667.20 - $117,852.80 / Annual

Summary

Works under the supervision of analytic leadership appropriate for the scope of work. This role is responsible for data analytics and additional support of performance measures, ongoing measurement, data collection, reporting, data visualization, and information dissemination. They are subject matter data experts that work with IT solutions to solve high priority organizational analytic problems in multiple domains, including but not limited to clinical quality, operations, and finance. This role involves developing and fine tuning exploratory IT solutions, which includes coding, testing, debugging, designing, and implementing newly developed BI solutions. Spends time researching and planning analytic solutions for existing and new problems within the organization as directed by their supervisor and leadership. Responsible for leading the subject matter strategic design and maintenance of business intelligence tools. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems independently. Ensures that the use of business intelligence applications enhance clinical & business decision-making capabilities. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Goals are communicated in solution or project goal terms. Will provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Partners and collaborates with other analytic teams and data warehouse engineers.

Requirements

Education: Bachelors degree from an accredited University or College in IT or related field, such as engineering, business administration required. Masters degree in data science and/or advanced analytics preferred.

Experience:

Required:

Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in healthcare IT, analytics, software development or data management utilizing project management and analytic process methodologies (e.g. Agile & Scrum).

5+ years of experience developing and managing reports and dashboards for analytic projects.

4+ years of experience with Business Intelligence Tools (QlikSense, QlikView, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)

Experience creating data models to support reports and dashboards.

Strong understanding of relational databases with experience using SQL query techniques. Knowledge of data warehouses/data stores and data marts.

Experience developing a test plan and executing test scenarios related to building and deploying dashboards.

Requires demonstrated experience in project management or management and experience working with external vendors.

Requires experience training and mentoring other developers/analysts.

Preferred:

Certified in at least one of Epics data model.

Experience with clinical/business analytics reporting and dashboards.

Knowledge of current healthcare environments.

7+ years of experience in enterprise databases and analytic reporting.

5+ year of experience using Qlik Sense/QlikView/Tableau or other BI Visualization tool.

Proficiency in statistical modeling and tools (i.e. R/Python/SAS/SPSS).

Certification:Certification in one of Epic's data models (Cogito, Caboodle, etc.) preferred
