Job summary

Principle BMW of San Antonio is seeking an exceptional Technician to join our rapidly growing dealership. You are a self-starter with deep expertise who solves problems others can’t figure out. You understand procedures, but you know when to think outside the box.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Automotive Technician experience preferred.
• ASE Certifications preferred, but NOT required.
• B-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair, preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
• Positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to improve.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional repairs and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
