Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Automotive Technician to service and repair vehicles at multiple U.S. auto service centers.

This full-time role carries a flat-rate structure with a 75% hourly guarantee and offers growth opportunities as you contribute to a high-standard team. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in auto repair or military vehicle maintenance, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' automotive repair experience or three years as a military vehicle maintenance specialist.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Preferred: ASE A4/A5 certifications, state inspection license, or MAC certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioning, and coolant systems.
• Troubleshoot problems using the latest diagnostic technology.
• Mentor teammates and stay current with evolving automotive techniques.
• Maintain high safety, service, and housekeeping standards.
• Perform manual tasks such as lifting tires/wheels and standing or squatting for extended periods.
