Job summary

GSK Zebulon in the United States is seeking an on-site automation engineer to provide daily automation and controls support for value stream production equipment, coordinating with the maintenance team to ensure smooth operation.

You will contribute to capital projects, drive process improvements to raise OEE, and mentor technicians while upholding cGMP and safety standards on the floor.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Engineering Technology or related field.
• 5+ years of industrial engineering/automation experience in regulated environments.
• Proficient with instrumentation, control systems, PLCs, HMIs, and electrical/mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily on-floor automation/controls support for value stream areas.
• Lead/participate in equipment improvements to boost OEE and reliability.
• Contribute to installation, commissioning, and validation of capital projects.
• Develop technical documentation and training materials as directed by supervision.
• Mentor maintenance staff and support ET skills development.
