Morrie’s Auto Group in Peoria, IL is seeking an automotive technician to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, and braking systems. You will test drives and use diagnostic computers to ensure safety and performance.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
• Entry-level candidates with working knowledge of cars are encouraged.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including Saturdays.
• Must pass background check.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, and brakes.
• Test systems to ensure reliability and safety.
• Road test vehicles and use diagnostic tools.
• Maintain accuracy in diagnosing and repairing.
• Follow checklists to inspect critical parts.
• Inspect hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems, and brakes for issues.
• Use pneumatic wrenches, grinding machines, and lathes as needed.
• Utilize hand tools to work on components.
• Prepare vehicle damage repair estimates.
