Job summary

Altimate Medical is hiring an Assembly Specialist II at our Leggero facility in Burnet, Texas. The role focuses on assembling sub-assemblies and finished products with high efficiency, following precise work instructions and prints while ensuring all parts are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical knowledge and experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English and interpret documents.
• Digital literacy: use of tablets, computers and other digital technology is required.
• Knowledgeable on use of common hand and power tools and ability to operate equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Assemble sub-assemblies and finished products using hand and power tools, following work instructions and prints.
• Inspect parts, complete assembly checklists, and ensure all components are included.
• Maintain quality by following internal processes and FDA/ISO regulations; report defects promptly.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or completed work to supervisors.
• Operate basic material handling equipment as needed.
• Meet daily production goals and record work in required systems.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Support a positive team environment and continuous improvement.
