Job summary

Jergens, Inc. seeks an Assembly Technician to perform set-ups, assemble products and conduct pull tests per instructions. You will use measuring tools to verify parts, maintain inventory, and ensure conformance to customer specs.

Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential as you contribute to lean manufacturing and product quality at our Cleveland facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Demonstrate ability to perform basic math and read measuring tools.
• Relatable assembly experience and effective communication skills.
• Proven accuracy in handling measurements and part quality.
• Ability to use company systems and programs after training.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and pull tests according to work instructions and quality specs.
• Set up equipment for assembly and testing per blueprints and orders.
• Use calipers, micrometers and measuring tools to verify parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts of WIP, components and sub-assemblies.
• Communicate issues to supervisor and keep records up to date.
• Practice good housekeeping and safety in all tasks.
