Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Advanced Analytics Intern to support quantitative analysis and data-driven decision making across our core business units. Reporting to the Central Analytics team, this internship offers hands-on experience with a modern cloud analytics stack and collaboration with analysts and analytics engineers to turn raw data into business insights.

You'll gain exposure to exploratory data analysis, SQL querying, forecasting, and dashboard development while ensuring data

Responsibilities

• Conduct exploratory data analysis on operational and financial datasets to surface trends and anomalies worth deeper investigation.
• Write and refine SQL queries against our cloud data warehouse to build clean, analysis-ready datasets.
• Support statistical analyses such as forecasting and experiment evaluation, using tools including Python or R.
• Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations that make analytical results accessible to business stakeholders.
• Assist with data validation and quality checks so that analytical outputs are accurate and reproducible.
• Collaborate with analysts and business partners to translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Document methodology and assumptions so that analyses can be reviewed and repeated by others.
• Contribute to a capstone analysis presented to analytics leadership at the end of the internship.
