Job summary

Global Partners is seeking an Advanced Analytics Intern to support quantitative analysis and data-driven decision making across our core business units. You will work with a modern cloud analytics stack, turning raw data into actionable insights that inform how the business operates.

The role offers exposure to statistical methods, forecasting, A/B or experimentation evaluation, and collaboration with analysts and engineers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a quantitative field with strong analytical skills.
• Experience with SQL and one of Python or R is preferred.
• Ability to transform data into actionable business insights.

Responsibilities

• Conduct exploratory data analysis on operational and financial datasets to surface trends and anomalies.
• Write and refine SQL queries against a cloud data warehouse to build clean, analysis-ready datasets.
• Support statistical analyses such as forecasting and experiment evaluation using Python or R.
• Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations for business stakeholders.
• Assist with data validation and quality checks to ensure reproducibility of analyses.
• Collaborate with analysts to translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Document methodologies and assumptions for repeatability.
• Contribute to a capstone analysis presented to analytics leadership.

Job Description

• Assist with data validation and quality checks so that analytical outputs are accurate and reproducible.
• Collaborate with analysts and business partners to translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Document methodology and assumptions so that analyses can be reviewed and repeated by others.
• Contribute to a capstone analysis presented to analytics leadership at the end of the internship.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $18.00 The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
