This role is responsible for analytical transformation projects including the development and evolution of TruGreen's real-time lifetime value and propensity to churn modeling, advanced logistics planning and optimization modeling, comprehensive sales and workforce forecasting, and drive increased sales efficiencies and customer experience satisfaction modeling. The Advance Analytics and Insights Manager will lead a team of Business Analysts and reporting engineers while working cross-functionally with the IT Business Intelligence team. Build, lead, and manage the long-term development and evolution of advanced analytical techniques enterprise-wide. Responsibilities include leading, developing, and managing the advanced analytics team for new sales, customer retention, route planning, and logistics optimization; providing thought leadership on and executing the vision for growth and evolution of advanced analytical techniques within the organization; establishing and building a close partnership with the IT Business Intelligence and architecture teams to achieve enterprise objectives; creating and maintaining advanced data analytics models for descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive uses across a wide range of business use cases, including customer lifetime value, next best action recommendations, customer satisfaction (NPS), field routing, planning, logistics optimizations, and sales planning; partnering with senior leaders to drive growth and change through advanced analytical analyses and analytic techniques to inform and support real-time decision-making across the business; preparing and presenting compelling data-driven stories and recommendations to create buy-in and influence at all levels of the organization. Competencies required include strategic mindset, driving vision and purpose, cultivating innovation, building effective teams, managing ambiguity, and business insights. Education and experience requirements include at least a Bachelor's degree in data analytics, data science, or related field (Master's preferred), 5+ years leading data science, engineering, or advanced analytics initiatives, and applied data science in a business setting preferred. Knowledge, skills, and abilities required include advanced analytical techniques, Python/R and SQL mastery, data science knowledge including ETL, data structures, architecture, warehousing, goal-driven hypothesis testing, model back-testing, ongoing optimization strategies, ability to influence at all levels, strong intellectual curiosity, ability to build strong relationships, effective communication and issue resolution, attention to detail and accuracy, and written and verbal communication skills. Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, using hands and arms, speaking and hearing, using close vision abilities, occasionally lifting or moving up to 25 lbs, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. The work environment is low to moderate noise level with minimal adverse conditions. The candidate must be physically located in the United States while performing this job.
