Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking an Advanced Analytics Analyst to drive data‑driven decision making across the organization. You will leverage Power BI, SQL, and Python to extract, analyze, and visualize data, supporting strategic initiatives with actionable insights.

You will collaborate with Business Intelligence, Analytics, FP&A, and Special Projects teams, build forecasting models, conduct A/B tests, and deliver dashboards and presentations to key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Data Science, CS, Statistics).
• Experience in data analysis, preferably retail/e-commerce.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Programming skills in Python.
• Experience with Databricks, Workday, and Power BI Fabric is a plus.
• Expertise in data visualization with Power BI.
• Familiarity with ML techniques and statistics.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Self-motivated with a drive for continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources using SQL and Databricks.
• Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Develop statistical and ML models to address business challenges.
• Identify trends and outliers to uncover actionable insights.
• Conduct A/B testing and hypothesis testing for data-driven decisions.
• Create dashboards with Power BI to present insights to stakeholders.
• Deliver regular presentations and translate findings to business teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics with objectives.
• Forecast processes and financial results using predictive analytics.
• Identify opportunities to enhance analytics processes and tools.
