Job summary

RaceTrac seeks an Advanced Analytics Analyst to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will leverage SQL, Python, and Power BI to extract, analyze, and visualize data, informing critical business strategies.

Collaboration with BI, Business Analytics, FP&A, and Special Projects teams will be essential to share new analytics concepts and systems. The role emphasizes translating technical findings into actionable business insights, with a strong focus on data visualization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Experience in data analysis, preferably in retail or e-commerce.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Programming skills in Python.
• Experience with Databricks, Workday and Microsoft PowerBI Fabric a plus.
• Expertise in data visualization tools, especially Power BI.
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques and statistical analysis.

The Advanced Analytics Analyst is a highly skilled position that will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. Leveraging expertise in Power BI, SQL, and Python to extract, analyze, and visualize data, providing valuable insights that will inform critical business strategies. The Advanced Analytics Analyst will drive collaboration with cross-functional departments including the Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Financial Planning and Analysis and Special Project teams, while facilitating information sharing of new analytics concepts and systems.

Work Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics).
• Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
