Job summary

SelectTech Services Corporation in Ohio is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer IV to support design, development, and manufacturing of aerospace components. You will bridge design and manufacturing, combining CAD design with on-the-shopfloor CNC setup and operation to accelerate prototyping and low-rate production.

You’ll design parts in CAD, program and run CNC machines, develop machining strategies from drawings, and contribute to process improvements with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• DFM and part design improvements.
• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines.
• Experience with laser cutting and sheet metal fabrication.
• Familiarity with additive manufacturing.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and CAD models.

Responsibilities

• Perform design engineering for prototype and production hardware.
• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes.
• Develop machining strategies from drawings and CAD models.
• Operate large-format laser systems and sheet metal fabrication equipment.
• Set up brakes for formed sheet metal components.
• Perform part inspection using precision tools.
• Support additive manufacturing activities and post-processing.
• Create and maintain CAD models/drawings in SolidWorks.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams.
• Maintain equipment and work areas safely and organized.
• Document designs and processes for repeatability.
