Job summary

Component Repair Technologies, Inc. seeks an Intermediate Level Repair & Assembly Technician to contribute to repairing and finishing aerospace and marine gas turbine engine components.

You will learn to follow OEM specs, perform hand blending, grinding, drilling, riveting, and assembly tasks in a climate-controlled facility. The role includes using measuring devices, adhering to safety, and participating in our in-house training program to develop the necessary skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in another industry with similar skills requirements.
• Experience using general hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform basic shop math with decimals and fractions.
• Familiarity with measuring gauges (calipers/micrometers).

Responsibilities

• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately, including OEM instructions.
• Use hand-held and power tools to perform various operations.
• Blend metals, weld, plate, and spray coatings.
• Disassemble and assemble engine components and parts.
• Drill, tap, re-drill holes; operate drill press and lathe for repairs.
• Use measuring devices to determine dimensions and ensure quality.
