Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an Advanced Process Control & Optimization Delivery Lead to drive high-impact APC and optimization projects across industrial environments. You will lead delivery teams, engage with customers, and collaborate with sales, product, and data science groups to ensure successful implementations.

The role requires a chemical engineering degree, 10+ years of APC/optimization experience, and the ability to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience implementing Advanced Process Control (APC) and/or optimization solutions.
  • Demonstrate experience and strong interest in data-driven and machine learning-based optimization models.
  • Have proven ability to lead technical implementation of APC and/or optimization projects in complex industrial environments.
  • Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and customer engagement skills.
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen with the ability to influence senior-level decision-making.
  • Have proven experience working in operating plant environments or similar industrial settings.
  • Show extensive experience engaging and communicating with senior executive stakeholders.
  • Flexible to travel up to 20% of the time, as required, both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting sales teams in identifying, quantifying, and presenting complex process optimization opportunities to customers
  • Developing high-quality technical proposals for process optimization across industries such as LNG, fertilizers, gas processing, refining, and olefins
  • Leading delivery teams during project execution to ensure technical success and high-quality implementation of solutions
  • Acting as a subject matter expert (SME), advising product teams on industry use cases, ideation, and feature development
  • Collaborating with product managers, data scientists, and customers to drive adoption of AI/ML-based optimization solutions
  • Staying current with emerging industry technologies and innovations, and sharing insights across engineering and services teams
  • Providing coaching, mentoring, and technical development support to global subject matter experts
  • Promoting a safe working environment and driving compliance with quality, safety, and EHS standards across all activities

The Advanced Process Control & Optimization Delivery Lead plays a critical role in delivering high-impact optimization solutions across complex industrial environments. This position combines technical leadership, customer engagement, and delivery excellence to ensure successful implementation of Advanced Process Control (APC) and optimization solutions.

You will collaborate with sales, product, and delivery teams to drive adoption of innovative technologies, including AI/ML-based optimization applications, while ensuring strong customer value realization and operational excellence.

As an Advanced Process Control & Optimization Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for:

The pay scale for this position is between 127,100.00 - 220,990.00 CAD Annual.

The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes' good-faith estimate of the minimum and maximum pay for this position at the time of posting and applies to the possible locations for this position.

Baker Hughes will issue a non-bias competitive offer; the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hires. Full-time salaries in some U.S. locations may not include equity or benefits.
