Rutgers University Medical Grp is seeking an Advance Practice Provider to deliver neonatal, infant, and early childhood care in a multidisciplinary setting. The role emphasizes family-centered, culturally sensitive care for critically ill and stable neonates.
The position requires CDS/DEA, NRP and BLS, and licensure as an APN/PA with NICU/PICU experience. Days, evenings, nights, and weekend coverage with 12h shifts are available, per diem options offered.
The Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider who provides health care to neonates, infants and children up to one year of age. The APP provides care for critically ill premature and full-term infants with an emphasis placed on family centered culturally diverse sensitive care. In collaboration with the APP has daily responsibility for the assessment and management of patients in high and low acuity.
The Advanced Practice Provider practices in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to provide a continuum of primary, acute and or subspecialty healthcare to their patients.
They enhance the quality of care through education and clinical practice utilizing advanced practice, knowledge and research.
