Job summary

Biogensys is seeking an Advance Practice Nurse for a client in Ancora, NJ. This full-time APN role focuses on admissions, medical care, physical assessment, and care planning for an inpatient psychiatric population, within a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds an NJ Advanced Practice Nursing License, NJ CDS license, DEA registration, and ANCC certification; weekend overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Current NJ Advanced Practice Nurse certification in adult health.
• Must maintain NJ CDS license and DEA registration.
• ANCC certification in APN required.

Responsibilities

• Admissions and medical care for inpatient psychiatric patients.
• Perform physical assessments and treatment planning as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Prescribe treatments and coordinate care for the inpatient unit.

• Current and valid certification as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, issued by the New Jersey Board of Nursing, in that category of advanced practice, adult health
