Job summary

Hospital for Special Surgery's Rehabilitation and Performance team in NYC seeks experienced physical therapists to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary outpatient orthopedic practice. Qualifications

Compensation Range

The base pay scale for this position is $132,408.12 - $152,395.62. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview:

HSS Rehabilitation and Performance is a dynamic multidisciplinary team of highly skilled clinicians supported by engaged patient access and rehab technician professionals.

We are continuously seeking experienced physical therapists to join our team at one of our NYC locations. Our clinicians treat a large variety of non-operative and post-operative diagnoses, and perform evaluations via direct access as appropriate. Our settings offer the opportunity to practice in variety of outpatient orthopedic environments including:

• Sports rehabilitation
• General orthopedics
• Hand therapy
• Pediatrics

Qualifications:

Candidates should be strong clinicians in the field of orthopedic physical therapy and have experience and/or interest in staff development, mentoring and education. Candidates should excel in communication, teamwork and leadership skills.

Candidates must have at least 3 years' experience, with outpatient clinical expertise emphasizing differential diagnosis, examination, and treatment of various musculoskeletal pathologies of the spine and extremities, both non-operative and post-operative. New York State licensure is a requirement. APTA certifications such as SCS, OCS or GCS are preferred, but not mandatory.
