Reasons to Believe (RTB) is seeking an Advancement Manager, Donor Engagement & Mid-Level Giving to lead RTB’s mid-level donor program. The role focuses on donor engagement, stewardship, and cross-department collaboration to deepen donor investment in RTB’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in donor relations, faith based fundraising, or nonprofit engagement.
• Proven success in developing, managing, or optimizing donor or program strategies.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience using CRM systems (Studio Enterprise, Virtuous, or similar).
• Committed to RTB’s mission, vision and core values, and an ability to integrate faith into donor communications.

Responsabilités

• Design, launch, and manage RTB’s strategic mid-level donor program ($1,000–$9,999 annual donors).
• First point of contact for Mid-Level donor engagement.
• Develop communication plan and upgrade pathways from mid-level to Major Gifts.
• Execute personalized donor cultivation and stewardship plans as appropriate.
• Analyze donor movement, retention, and revenue growth; recommend program improvements.
• Identify donors with potential planned or legacy giving interest.
• Plan and execute annual Planned Giving communications.
• Coordinate referrals and stewardship follow-up with the Major Gifts and Donor Engagement teams.
• Support legacy donors with relational care and meaningful touchpoints.
• Develop and execute donor email campaigns and social media content for donor platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
• Monitor campaign performance and suggest improvements to increase donor engagement.

Position Summary

What is the role? The Advancement Manager, Donor Engagement & Mid-Level Giving position leads RTB’s mid-level donor program, strengthens donor relationships and collaborates across departments to ensure impactful donor engagement. This role blends strategic donor communications, and creative ministry-centered touchpoints to deepen donor investment in RTB’s mission.

During your first year, you’ll develop donor engagement strategies, strengthen stewardship efforts, and collaborate across departments to enhance donor experiences. As you grow in the role, you’ll have increasing opportunities to influence fundraising initiatives, expand donor relationships, and help advance RTB’s impact through strategic and faith-centered engagement.

Responsibilities/DutiesMid-Level Giving Program Management

• Design, launch, and manage RTB’s strategic mid-level donor program ($1,000–$9,999 annual donors).
• First point of contact for Mid-Level donor engagement.
• Develop communication plan and upgrade pathways from mid-level to Major Gifts.
• Execute personalized donor cultivation and stewardship plans as appropriate.

Planned & Legacy Giving Support

• Identify donors with potential planned or legacy giving interest.
• Plan and execute annual Planned Giving communications.
• Coordinate referrals and stewardship follow-up with the Major Gifts and Donor Engagement teams.
• Support legacy donors with relational care and meaningful touchpoints.

Donor Centric Media and Marketing

• Develop and execute targeted donor email campaigns using Mailchimp or similar platforms.
• Support text-to-give initiatives and other digital fundraising campaigns.
• Stay informed on social media fundraising trends and emerging donor engagement opportunities.
• Ideate and conceptualize donor-focused social media content, developing creative video and engagement strategies for donor facing platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
• Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements to increase donor engagement and giving.

Donor Events

• Partner with Advancement team members to manage, support, and execute donor events and experiences.

Donor Communications & Creative Touchpoints

• Write and edit donor-facing content including emails, articles, thank‑you messages, and impact updates that reflect RTB and its faith-centered mission.
• Develop creative, personalized touchpoints.
• Collect and share donor and ministry impact stories.
• Collaborate with Marketing and coordinate Marketing’s e-communication scheduling.
• As needed, partner with MarComms and Ministry Care teams to ensure consistent, timely donor communications and accurate donation processing.
• Partner with IT as needed to track contributions accurately and build reports as needed.

Briefing

• Collect and provide monthly financial reports to the Director, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
• Maintain and update the monthly Advancement calendar and distribute it to department stakeholders.
