Job summary

Vibe Care Agency in Dorchester is seeking experienced Support Workers to provide in-home care for clients with cerebral palsy who are profoundly disabled and non-verbal. You will assist with personal care, hoisting, dressing, bathing and feeding, delivering 1-1 support with occasional shadow shifts as you gain experience.

The role offers shift times 07:30-14:30 and 14:30-21:30, with competitive pay and opportunities for weekly pay, accrued holiday, and free induction plus update training.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering personal care and support.
• Experience with in-home care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-1 support to clients in their own homes.
• Assist with personal care, hoisting, dressing, bathing and feeding.
• Shadow shifts with experienced staff as needed.

Job description

Vibe Care Agency are seeking experienced Support Workers for our client in Dorchester.

This role is supporting service users living in their own homes

If you enjoy crafting, going out and about for walks, shopping and cooking this role could be of interest.

Previous experience supporting people with cerebral palsy, who are profoundly disabled & non verbal would be an advantage. Support would be required with all aspects of personal care, hoisting, dressing, bathing & feeding etc.

Both service users require 1-1 support and shadow shifts would be offered with view to support these service users 1-1 after a while.

The shift hours are 0730 - 1430 and 1430 - 2130.

Pay Rates £13.15 - £14.00 ph
