Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper MI in Neillsville, WI is seeking a Residential Support Professional to provide daily support, supervision, and encouragement to residents in our addictions, restorative justice, mental health residential, and crisis programs.

This full-time role includes night shifts Sunday–Tuesday 8:00 PM–8:00 AM, with a mandatory weekly staff meeting and opportunities for paid training and professional development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience in human services, behavioral health, social services, or a related field preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and an insurable driving record required

Responsibilities

• Support, interact with, and monitor residents while serving as a positive role model
• Document resident observations and maintain required records
• Assist with medication monitoring and administration (per program guidelines)
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations
• Support residents in achieving treatment and recovery goals
• Perform household duties including cleaning, laundry, and organizing supplies
• Assist with transportation to appointments, meetings, and community activities
• Help residents develop life skills, including meal preparation and daily living tasks
• Participate in staff meetings and required training

What You'll Do
