Job summary

Pasco County Library system seeks a Librarian I - Reference to provide reference and reader's advisory services to adults, teens and children. The role includes supporting programming, outreach, and technology instruction within the library network.

The Librarian I will assist with collection development, partner with branch staff, and help train volunteers while maintaining accurate records and participating in ongoing professional development. Evening and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Library Science or be in last semester and degree within six months.
• One year of library experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide reference and reader's advisory to adults, teens and children.
• Develop and implement library programming and outreach.
• Assist with collection development and circulation duties.
• Coordinate training and supervision in branch operations as needed.
